Blast near India nuclear plant kills 6, injures several

At least six people have been killed and several others injured after a crude bomb exploded near a nuclear plant in Southern India.

The bomb reportedly went off accidentally as anti-nuclear activists were making explosive devices in a house 15 kilometers from the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant on Tuesday night.

The plant, located in Tamil Nadu state, was not affected by the blast, police said.
